Our Educational Approach

Founders
Next Step Learning Academy., LLC is an extension of Jason and April Love-Prothro who have
been married for 21 years and have 3 children. They are honored by many in their community, being held in high esteem for how they display the order of their life as being God, Family, and Business.
April, whom we lovingly call "Lady A" is the President/ Executive Director of Next Step Learning Academy and is
passionate about providing a safe, high quality, impactful experience for young children. She is a radiant woman of integrity, whose presence radiates the room, and her laughter leaves a lifelong imprint on every heart it meets. You will often see her helping to plan events, connecting with the staff, and engaging the parents. April loves to visit every classroom, every day to inspire the teachers and to give warm hugs to the children. Along with being the Center Owner, April is the First Lady at Kingdom Builders Ministry, an Author, and an online retail Business Owner. She is a woman of prayer and faith, and she loves to inspire other women to "set the standard" in their actions, attitudes, and atmospheres.
Jason, lovingly known as "JP", is the Vice President/ Co-Owner of Next Step Learning Academy. JP is a strong supportive husband, father, Senior Pastor of Kingdom Builders Ministry, owner of I.D.E.A.L Man Mentoring, and Author of multiple impactful books. He is often seen helping with the Center grounds and providing a secured atmosphere for the safety and operations of the Center. He is passionate about encouraging healthy family foundations and you will see him often engaging the parents and supporting the staff.
